Q: If people are not physically forced to take drugs, why do they start?

A: One of the main reasons why young people start taking drugs is peer pressure. We have all experienced peer pressure before, whether it is to follow fashion trends or to listen to the same popular music. Here are a variety of other reasons why young people start taking drugs: curiosity, boredom, stressed, unhappy, desire to escape/relax or they think it will be an exciting experience.
