Q: What if you help a friend hold drugs and the police come and arrest you?

A: Firstly, it is never a good idea to hold to onto anything suspicious. It may seem like you are doing a friend a favor but you might end up breaking the law and have to face some serious consequences. If the drugs you end up holding are illegal drugs, according to the Dangerous Drugs Ordinance (Cap. 134), possession of illegal substances would make you liable for conviction, and you could end up having to pay a fine or even face imprisonment.

Friends may not be the only people who ask you for help. If a stranger asks you to hold some suspicious substances, don't, because this is also a bad idea.
